Week 9 in the NE10 was a bit on the quiet side with league leader Assumption at home and all the favored teams winning. Now in Week 10 Assumption looks to practically (they still have one game left and St. Anselm has been a pest this season) put the league title out of reach by beating New Haven this week. A New Haven win would mean that the league champion would have no better than a 7-3 record, which isn't good in terms of playoff rankings. Right now 2-loss Assumption isn't in the top 10 of this week's SR1 regional rankings.
And now the recap from last week:
1. Pace beats AIC 35-25 - Darius Jones and Jhalen Bien-Aime both had big games to lead Pace.
2. Bentley beats St. Anselm 41-35 - Hawks' luck runs out and their winning streak ends, although they put up quite the fight.
3. New Haven beats Franklin Pierce 63-0 - Chargers did what they had to do and didn't get trapped before the Assumption game.
4. Stonehill beats Southern CT State 41-20 - Skyhawks stop their losing streak and improve to 5-3.
The NE10 Pick'Em has three on top with 31 correct picks, and a couple at 30 and 29 picks as well.
