  • Le Moyne Heads up to Division I, further changes for NE10/CACC/ECC?

Looks Like Le Moyne's rumors to D1 are true. Any idea if the NE10 goes to the ECC or CACC for a replacement school or two? My thought would be they could pretty easily add the three DII programs based around Buffalo (D'Youville, Daeman, Roberts Wesleyan). Thoughts?

Inkblot has been posting about Nichols and Utica from the D3 ranks for a while now as potential new members (they even have football!), but I don’t know enough to have any insights.

I think the NE10 is OK for non-football sports members right now but probably wouldn’t reject someone if they fit in with the conference.

I thought New Haven would have made the move to D1 sooner than later, but from what I’ve seen they’re in no rush to do it. Probably the smart move.

NE10 did add Post U for football only. Not a big surprise there.

Actually, not sure how official this is, but New Haven seems to be pretty aggressively pursuing DI

It’s been known since Zenger was hired that the goal was to move to D1 and they’ll eventually do it. The same newspaper ran a story a couple weeks ago saying they want to be deliberate and that they’ve already turned down some D1 conference invitations.
