They've been alternating guys - I think I saw a mushroom cloud over their sidelines earlier in the game, it's been going so bad for them. I don't know if they settled on QB3. They've been seriously snakebit when it comes to injuries.

Pace gets short field and leads New Haven 14-10 late in the third. Special teams coverage biting the Chargers in the butt, the Pace TD was set up by a long punt return.

9 minutes left, Pace still leads New Haven 14-10. Chargers have a good drive but are stopped at the 2 on fourth down since they don't kick field goals.

That's 6 points they would have had if they had a capable kicker if my math is right.

5 minutes left, Pace stops New Haven again on fourth down.

This will be the first time Pace has beaten New Haven if the result holds.

It may also knock the NE10 out of the playoff race, but if we're relying on this New Haven offense to win in the playoffs, that's not a good idea.

New Haven scores on the same play after the time out.

Vinnie DeSimone makes the extra point after an unsportsmanlike penalty followed by a Pace offsides penalty made it a 30-yard kick.

New Haven leads with 2 minutes left 17-14.
