A costly penalty just hurt Bowie. The picked a VSU pass off in the endzone but an offside call gave the ball back to VSU on 1st and 6 from the goal. Two plays later VSU scores off of a QB scramble.
How many more games must Bowie and Fayetteville win before either of them clinch their divisions?
Bowie and VUU are both undefeated so the winner of their game next week is in the driver's seat. If Bowie wins next week, then a win against Lincoln the following week locks things up. If VUU wins then Bowie would need VUU to lose the final two games so Bowie would win the division flat out, or at least lose to VSU to force a three way tie and then see where the chips fall (assuming VSU doesn't lose anymore games and Bowie beats Lincoln and ECSU to end the season).
FSU needs to win the next two games and they are guaranteed the South Division Crown. If they lose to either St Augs or LC, and then lose to WSSU (assuming WSSU beats LC and Shaw) then WSSU would win the Southern division. I think LC is also still in it if they win out (beating FSU, WSSU, and JCSU); however, they would need someone else to also beat FSU. Shaw might also technically be in it if they win out and FSU losses the next three games.
