WSSU starts the 2021 regular season with a familiar regional Division 2 foe, UNC - Pembroke.

Bowie should definitely be competitive with DSU to start the season. Out the gate with 3 competitive games to start the season before the challenging conference schedule is daunting but respectable. If they can upset DSU and win out the CIAA schedule they could very well earn a top 3 seed for playoffs. Of course that means knocking off VSU and winning the conference championship game lol.

The above links are for the same game against Virginia Union. The second link references Virginia-State, but I think that's because this was an invitational tournament game played at WEST Virginia State in Institute, WV. Virginia State has never played UVA Wise in football or basketball.

I'm disappointed that the Commerce game isn't taking place. Would've been a pretty good test for Bowie.

Bowie had 3 true OOC games scheduled for the 2020 season. Texas A&M Commerce, Saginaw and New Haven. Order may have been different, but definitely remember Bowie having those teams scheduled.

Only having 4 home games sucks though.
