VA Union 23 - VA State 13 going into the half.

VSU scored on a TD pass late in 2nd qtr, making in 14-13. Extra point kick was blocked and returned by Union for 2 points (I'm blanking on the proper name for the sort of play) making it 16-13.

Union scores a TD with extra point kick on the next drive.

Something screwy going on. Virginia State clearly called a timeout with about 3 seconds remaining in the half. It appeared the timeout was acknowledged, then for some reason the teams are leaving the field for halftime. Coach Frazier looked pissed arguing with the refs about it.

FSU hits a FG on 4th and 1 from the 7, yet WSSU gets flagged for too many men on the field. FSU accepts the penalty as it gives them a first down and they score a TD. WSSU 24 - FSU 14 2nd Q.

CIAA officials show a level of incompetence today. We stopped FSU on the 15 yard line, the clock ran out but FSU's coach called a timeout. After a some level of confusion they give the ball to FSU on the 10 to kick the field goal. That's pretty embarrassing from the refs perspective losing the spot of the ball by 5 yards.
