After the first week of D2 games Massey Ratings has 6 GSC teams in the top 15.

1 West Florida
4 Valdosta State
12 West Georgia
13 Delta State
14 North Greenville
15 West Alabama

DSU doesn't belong in any polls yet. We played a far less superior opponent compared to the other GSC teams. Bethel is an NAIA school. That said, it's good to see the GSC well represented.

True, it's nice to see the GSC up there but I don't put a lot of stock in the D2 Massey rankings, they have CSU-Pueblo at 45 and Lenoir-Rhyne at 47 .....

It will get more accurate as more games are played, that is except for siloed conferences because there are no OOP games from which comparisons could be made.

Diddly is what they know. Diddly! Pretty sure Bo knows though.

Massey never has given LR a good rating. Its his formula they argue but I am not on board with his formula. I think we could go undefeated and would still be outside the top ten. SOS starts of one sided in my opinion.

I just checked the Massey Rankings again and for some reason it still shows LR as 0-0 so maybe they haven't fully updated the data from week 1 and that could explain LR's ranking. I would still think they would be higher but then again I'm not a computer... That being said I kid because I care and I would like to thank Massey for putting in the effort to cover D2, I'm sure there are many in the D2 world that would say the same.
