Gotta love their optimism. 31-7 with 9 mins left and the announcer says that may have put it away with that last score, knowing full well a MC 2 min drive takes 5 mins :-)

Well that's two 5-play drives for a touchdown for the Blazers. Last drive was the 2nd and 3rd teams.......Good job Blazers!!!

Nice win Blazers. We just seemed a bit off today in the passing game.

So, funny story. To tell this story I have to mention that I'm not American, and I have a bit of an accent (to you guys)... So, my third quarter at Valdosta State (we used a quarter system back then), was fall 1982, our first year of football.

I went to our first home game with some friends from Reade Hall, it was about a dozen of us. So the first time we scored I yelled Yay! and a buddy sitting next to me asked "hooray? we don't say hooray anymore" dude! and everyone fell out laughing :-) I was like "no mon", I said Yay!

But it was too funny, they laughed for 2-3 minutes. So although I'd played football in high school, that was my introduction to Valdosta State football.

Yeah, hope Coach uses the commentator's assessment that West Ga. is a better team as bulletin board material, the guys seem like they can use some motivation.

Nah they were extremely nice to me, probably because I'd just brought a suitcase full of Duty Free Liquor, come to think of it, that may have had something to do with the laughter :)

That was the slowest paced quickly played game that I have ever watched.

Yeah, what was it, 3 possessions each in the first half and like 1 penalty each?
