New Year, New Coach at LR

Speaking of players following their former coach...I saw social media posts today indicating that tight end Drake Starks (a Georgia native) is leaving LR and enrolling at Mercer.

Yes, Drake Starks is a big talented TE and would have been one of LR's top returning receivers next season. His bruising blocking will also be missed. Even though he's going to be a walk-on at Mercer, I believe he has a pretty good chance of picking up a free ride scholarship within a year or so.

It appears as though there's a lot of talk and decision making going on with the LR players at this time..
