I'm not disagreeing with you, but isn't this the case (see bold) with just about every team in the league at this point, with the possible exception of Wingate (and Anderson)? My point is that the Bears could go 7-4, or even 6-5...but they could also go 9-2. Not saying they'll go 9-2, but it seems as plausible as 7-4 or 6-5.

Any of you guys know why LR did away with pretty much all evening games and 2:00 PM games for this year? Sucks living over an hour away with a kid playing youth football on most of those Saturdays, may not get to see but a couple of games in person this year if that.

Yeah that was a gigantic disappointment for me. Having two home night games with fireworks to start the season has been one of my favorite LR traditions.

While I think all the projections on here are fair and probably well thought out, I am leaning on the 9-1 or better side....because of the QB and everyone ones description of the receiving group.
If, and it is a big if, Ferguson stays healthy, I sincerely believe he is worth 2 to 3 ADDITIONAL TDs per game. In my opinion, he is that good. He has proven he has the accurate arm, quick throwing ability, and ability to not just find the receiver but also put the ball in his hands in a catchable manner.

In sticking with the optimistic best case scenario theme, Carson Newman's new offence will be pretty much unstoppable this coming season leading to a great 12-1 record this year. 🏈

The one loss will come in the later rounds of the NCAA Division 2 Football playoffs to the eventual Champion team.
