You probably have to follow LR guys. If you follow 2-3 guys on each team, you generally will know about everyone who enters bc of all the "Go be great" hype ups they do for each other.

The clash between attempted downward, lateral, and upward movements will be interesting this offseason.

DI teams must get down to 105 total players in their program for the 2025 season. Almost all DI sports will be cutting total roster sizes. It seems there could not be many spots available for DII plyers to move up this season with all of the DI players that will be looking for new homes by no choice of their own. Of course, the DII studs will find a home, but the marginal ones will possibly be facing competition with players they lost out to out of high school.

Was thinking about this as well. I remember a stat (may not be true) that somewhere around 50% of portal entrants don’t end up finding a permanent home. I’m sure that number will go up with the logjam in the portal and the new D1 rules. Some of these kids who want to go up a level probably need a reality check as to how good they actually are.

The portal has definitely helped in some ways but has also created uncertainty in others. Going to be interesting to see how we can use it to help our team especially with our collective program in place.

I'm surprised to see the kicker in the portal, I never thought he was that reliable and was hoping they would have a new kicker this past year but for whatever reason they used him again. I just hope they can get someone who will allow them more opportunities to score some points when they get bogged down. When they sent him out there Saturday for a 45 yard attempt I was like what the hell are you thinking, it didn't even make it to the crossbar, then they scored and I said to my daughter now let's see if he can make the extra point, and she laughed after it was blocked I was like you thought I was kidding? Maybe the coaches told him he needed to look elsewhere so he is hoping to get picked up.

According to my sources the kicker did not leave the team on his own accord. It seems the staff cut ties with him not the other way around.

Adonis is off the portal and staying at LR. Brown can stay at LR but not on football team. Ferguson has a decent shot at being picked up by another team but most likely D2. Excited for the upcoming recruitment process. Probably see some portal players in the mix and I anticipate a strong recruiting class.

Wow, that was quick. Sounds like someone got their hands on that Bears collective everybody’s been talking about! Any clue on who the coaches are zeroing in on for QB next season? We’ve got some talent on the team, hoping we can see what that Attmore kid can bring.

Well Adonis McDaniel just posted 30 min ago that he is in the portal and and notification of transfer sooooo... He's either still in or back in or whatever but he is gone.

Andrew is good and can make all the throws, not very mobile. But if what I am hearing is true about the staff talking to people the way they are, it may be short lived.
