Stage was too big for the coach who proves he can’t win with a team he recruited. I feel bad for the coaches before him who built LR into a machine that was feared. Now everyone wants the easy picking of LR.

Seems like the staff had a good game plan for the triple going into the game but could not make the necessary adjustments to the new game plan out of half from CN. That is always one of the crucial moments against a triple option team… can you adjust to what they switch to?
Tough loss but they honestly did better than I thought they would. Going into an easy must win next week.

I was finally able to be at the game in person.
First quarter and most of 2nd quarter LR looked pretty good, both offense and defense. But once LR got the 14-0 lead, one could almost feel the game change.
From play calling to execution, the game became to large for LR. From you cannot get a first down to you cannot stop their offense, In my humble opinion the change was present first in the O and D play calling. Then the players were just out of position, not fast enough, or completely lost.
And apparently, I am not the only one discouraged. It has been a long time since I have seen so many empty seats. Surely I am not the only one that can observe this fact.

Special teams and poor decisions by qb not to run with open field in front of him cost us today. Second half play calling was suspect on the side of playing it safe which is why we didn’t come close to scoring in the second half. This conference seems to be very even though out the teams. The difference is in the details and we have failed for the most part in that category. Looks like we are in for a long season the way we have played and coached so far. This team should be 5-1 in my opinion. Losing our starting quarterback in the portal to Toledo has been the difference. He left for a very small amount of money and sits on the bench there. The portal has been very unkind to a lot of D2 schools with their best athletes leaving for more money and d1 opportunities.

Bearhof shoulda, coulda, woulda… bottom line they are 2-4 with a horrendous staff for the rest of the year. And god forbid someone from LR left in the portal, must show the incompetence of this staff he wanted to leave and reunite with the coach that brought him in and are currently winning at the fbs level.
