Nice crowd for homecoming. Cold and windy. The band done good, The queens and kings and whatnot was nice. Went up to the high dollar box for part of the second quarter where the high rollers watch. It should have been a good game and it had some moments of good play from both teams. Our coaches know how Wingit plays, they beat the crap out of our interior line with the run. Slam Dam thank you mam. Then they got everbody leaning into the box they hit a play action cross, hook or post for big yards. Thats their whole playbook. We haven't beat them in 5 or 6 years and we didn't beat them again today. We didn't help ourselves. We hit some good passes but didn't have much to show for it by committing a lot of sins which caused the stripped shirts to toss out the laundry. I hear Doug's wife wants to move back to sunny Florida.

She will probably be getting that opportunity. From what I have heard from people with inside knowledge is that he is gone after this year, and this was before the loss yesterday. I do not remember if he had a three year or four year contract and but if it was three he won't be resigned and if it was four he will be fired.

Bears playing for pride the rest of the year. Wish we saw more 12p run game and RPO. Hard to do that when you haven’t found your OL by week 8.. QB looks talented but tries to force It. Needs to be a system QB and build his confidence. Focus on doing what your players do best.. establish the run and do what LR has always done best. 2 ypc won’t cut It with the depth of talent at RB

For what it's worth, Coach Pete Shinnick (one of the best D2 coaches in history) may be available soon after the season he's having with Towson this year.
