as a coach, im saying stop being a puss looking for excuses as to why harding lost the game. they lost and it was purely lack of execution. didn't have **** to do with a concussion on your holder. could have been coaching but I kinda doubt it. Ferris has scholarship players too and im sure they watched film.
if you were there when they installed the offense, you should know that PERFECT EXECUTION is what wins the games with this offense. 21 points should have been enough to win the game...if you don't understand that, nothing I say would make a difference anyway.
Where do you coach? Want to make sure my son doesn't end up with a a$$ for a coach.

So much hate in this thread. Overall, OBU did just what the practiced. They looked sharp and were hungry to play. I think Indy had a little bit of travel lag, but I still think OBU would have won at least by two touchdowns on the road. Ferris State will test them a little more, but OBU will still be favored. I will say I watched part of the game, and what in the heck is going on with the field? It was a good solid yellow/brown. I don't think that was from the camera. I know some schools prefer grass, but you can do all kinds of things to make it look better. T

So, meanwhile, back to the actual game from this past weekend. I took a sabbatical from the board over the weekend and came back to find this article. What the heck happened in this game?!?

            Sounds like they need turf.

I was siting on the visitor side close to the play when the UIndy QB was tackled out of bounds, UIndy #78 did not like the way his QB was tackled and.....well, let's just say it is something that most of us have not seen during a FB game. Kinda scary actually. Best part was, nobody was hurt and the player was ejected and escorted out.

Yeah I was very happy no one was hit by that helmet he chunked. Could have hurt someone, especially an official with no pads, very badly.

Don't say it's a money issue. They have an indoor practice field and are a private college. They have donors.

The enrollments at a few of the schools in the GAC are so tiny. That alone puts them at a huge disadvantage. The fact that some of the smallest are private makes it worse. Public schools often get state and federal funding, and have deep pocketed donors.

Without knowing much about AR financing, Arkie Tech looks like the sleeping giant of the GAC.(Sort of like UCO and UCM in the MIAA) Harding looks like the Lindenwood of the GAC. Lindenwood is a moneyed Private with an enrollment of around 10 grand, and they couldn't keep up with the top of the MIAA spending. Almost, but not quite.

Most D2's don't have many on a full ride, if any. They split the schollies up.

They do split it up at HSU.
