I may be most excited about Gabe Huskey at RB. His HS stats are crazy.

He amassed 5,644 yards on 683 carries for an average of 8.3 ypc. Huskey had 100 plus yards in 31 of his 36 career games played. Huskey's 91 rushing TD's is tied for the most All-Time in Arkansas HS history. He has 103 Career Total TD's.

Also signed Kendall Givens. He rushed for a pedestrian 4,036 yards, 71 TD's, and averaged 11.4 yards per carry in his career.

All that to say...Ouachita is reloading at RB!!
Huskey is really fun to watch. Plays very hard. He’s not real fast but runs hard. I think the back OBU signed with most potential is Xaylon Falls. Very dynamic. Feel like he could’ve been great at slot for us if we were to get him.

Huskey is awesome, and had a great career, but he didn’t lead the state in TD’s this year. That honor belonged to Stone Sheffield from Harding Academy, and I’m sure you know where he ended up :)

Wonder if he is similar in to style with that boy from Glen Rose years back?

Hard to know until he gets here, but he is bigger though. I bet he puts on 10-15 lbs in first year or so and will play at 5'10" around 180-190. I like that size.

Hudl profile says he runs a 4.5. Much faster than me! Don't know much about Falls, but you know we love those small, quick WR's!

^ Doesn’t really need much weight. We’ve played with 170 pound slots for years. Eric Kelly, Grant Kimberlin, Malik Matthews this year. An extra 10 pounds won’t hurt but don’t have to be very big to play that spot.

Givens is a good pick up for the Tigers. 5A All State 2nd running back.

Ok we’ve heard from posters for OBU, SAU, Harding and SWOSU about National Signing Day. How about the other GAC teams?

I couldn’t find much information on East Central Oklahoma State’s signing class. If anyone has more info, let us hear from you.

Thanks OldBison for digging these up for us. Enjoyed reading about other teams signing classes. Would love to hear more from some other posters about players they are excited about that haven’t already said anything

For ECU's signing class, the only place I can find them is on their social media pages. Looking through the guys, they got some DUDES. They got some immediate help with Junior College / Transfer players.

Thanks OAT25. Tell us more about the new ECU recruits. How many in-State/out-of-State? How many Defense vs Offense? In your estimation where were they needing the most help for the future? Did they get it?

Everybody is a “DUDE” when they sign. Prove it on Saturday.

I would need to go back through their twitter and see but they got a lot Texas guys and very few Oklahoma. Got a ton of Defensive Lineman, Defensive Backs, Wide Receivers and Offensive Line. Those were the biggest needs.

Harding just signed this RB from Mansfield Legacy HS. His name is Ayo Adeyi. Looks like he could be developed into a good slot or FB for the Flexbone.
