Due to the fact we had the ball from time of possession and recovering onside kick (context is key). The biggest thing out of all of this is that fact that Ouachita never pulled their starters. You are trying to reassure yourself of Ouachita and dimish the numbers wolfe did on y’all with giving false information. I even rewatched it. Every single one of your all conference Defense players played the entire 4th: from 42-12 to 42-32.

Not trying to discount Wolfe. He played great. More trying to dampen the overreaction to it being a closer game and Ouachita being in trouble.

And yes, backups were being played in the 4th. At one point it was an entirely new offensive and defensive line. Look at those pretty white jerseys...no mud. Of the runs in the 4th qtr the 2nd string QB and 3rd and 4th strung RB had 6 of 10. Starters went back in when it got to 42-26. An indication that they went out to early in the first place.
