Yeah C-N dumped the veer when Mike Turner retired after 2019. Offense hasn't been the same since.

I don't remember exactly when the Bears severed the option but their offense is tremendously balanced. Three different backs rushed for 500+, but McGee is the workhorse. He had more carries than 2 and 3 combined. They don't throw to the back hardly ever, but had 4 different WR with 25+ catches and 350+ yards. Yates, Rogers and Lester are the main 3. None are super fast, but I'd advise not kicking it to Rogers. But they all 3 have great hands and are fun to watch after the catch. Sean White the QB has been playing lights out for several weeks now. Many LR fans will try to play it off, but they complained all off-season and really until Ferguson went down that White wasn't "it". Ferguson is talented, but the Bears are not here if not for Sean White.

Good thing the team doctor missed his flight and didn’t get there till halftime because had our qb been able to start the first half that game would have been a toss up. He was able to play the second half and LR won the second half. Our qb that played the first half was terrible and cost us ten points. NWMS has really been very fortunate against SAC teams especially the CN game years ago.

I was an offensive lineman for Harding in the late 60’s and early 70s. When other teams would brag about how much bigger than were, our line coach would say, “It ain’t always the tallest hog at the trough that wins the prize.”

I’ll man up and say I was the first one to complain about Sean. His redemption cycle has been awesome to watch.

Coach Simmons has the Bisons believing they’re the best team in the nation. You get a bunch of 20 year olds believing that these days and there’s no telling what you can accomplish. Just ask the US Army.
Yes, thank you for OldBison for sending out compliment to Predatory Primates. I have noticed a lot of support coming from our MIAA friends and appreciate the respect giving to our Bisons. Of course I like to read the posts of those that are being civil in their discourse verses those who are flame throwers.

Did that come with a trophy?

I think I saw a previous post where he mentioned he was a former player so I’m not surprised how passionate he is about Harding Fb, to be expected. And he is funny at times

magic medicine should always travel with the team. not the doctor. i wonder what your trainers were doing the first half, if they were waiting on the doc to get there...

You think those MIAA goons would respect any of us if HU didn’t beat their dudes? The MIAA forum is WW2 level of fighting between each other during the season.

They have a base defense than can do it and the Dline to
go with plus they have 2 LB I was impressed by. The real question will Be how good the safeties are. They probably have a good game plan, I wanna see some violence in the trenches and let that be deciding factor

Yeah. I don’t respond much to the flame throwers. I figure we’ll just do our talking through our play on the field. Like Dizzy Dean said, “It ain’t bragging if you can do it.”

When the mud slinging turns to WW2 in-fighting, the language and attitude begins to usher in the loosening and removal of decency, which can be at times extremely foul and degrading on a personal level. When I stated being "civil" I was meaning a good post that focuses on the skills and abilities of the players and coaches and stays out of the middle school level and the "your mother..." kind of response. It is better, to me, when we post those things that are fact based and opinion based and not on flame throwing personal attacks.

That is what I was referring to. Yes, the MIAA and the GLIAC were quite active in being personal in their posts and we should try and counter that action with truth and facts to be honorable. I operate that way in life and I hope on this forum as well.
