They have a fantastic program but don't have the same players on their team. I think you were blinded by the results of last year's game and didn't listen to everyone saying the team has a different lineup this year. GVSU will be a good team again next year but will still need to develop their rooster in the off-season.
Probably true but fans typically go in one direction or another. Either build their team up as ubeatable or poor mouth. If anything my lack of belief was nothing more than a sign of respect for GVSU. I respect the heck out of Ferris as well. Don’t let a little good natured mouth running fool you. We know we have our tallest task of the season at hand this weekend.

If anything, it helps their offense, as they just need to get 3-4 yards a play, and their scheme plays out for them. Ferris will be ok on offense, I believe. Annese and his son do a fantastic job breaking down defenses and picking them apart. They just need the ball to be able to do this, which means their defense needs to step up and get Harding to make mistakes and have plays that result in negative or zero yardage. They will be in the game if they can get them in 3rd and long situations or just stop them on 3rd and shorts. If Harding has possession of the ball for over 35 minutes in this game, they will win. I'm rooting for Ferris, but man, this is going to be a close one. I think it will be 35-24 Ferris with the "upset" :)
I agree but will add in one point. 3rd and short is 2 down territory for us just about anywhere on the field

I hear ya, man! If you can make it past the Bully Dogs of the North, you may have an easy path to repeating.
