Just saw where 2026 Football Schedules have been announced. Glad to see SAU get's OBU and HSU at home this year. Harding on the road will be tough like always, and I see that Ark Tech game as a trap game. Wondering who will play in El Dorado this year for the Murphy USA Classic.

Very interesting that the El Dorado game isn't listed on your schedule this year. You'd think that would be decided when you drop the schedule? Surely it's getting played this year right?Originally posted by Mulerider View PostJust saw where 2026 Football Schedules have been announced. Glad to see SAU get's OBU and HSU at home this year. I noticed that HU has one less Thursday game than the last few years. The second week of October has typically been a Thursday game. Of course, that might change. Kick off times for the OBU and ECU games are TBA at this point. Toughest stretch on the schedule for the Bisons is SWOSU (9/10), SAU (9/19) and the Purple Tigers in Arkadelphia (9/26).

Yeah, they normally pay a couple of opponents thousands of dollars to move their home games to Thursdays. Paid SE Oklahoma $10k last year to move their game in Durant to Thursday. Tried to pay HSU to move theirs as well.Originally posted by OldBison View PostI noticed that HU has one less Thursday game than the last few years. I guess with Paul having a lot more free Saturdays they may not feel the need to do that anymore? Idk. I know the budget is tight over there.

That El Dorado game is a joke. SAU doesn’t even want to play it, but they do it for political reasons.Originally posted by TheWonderBoy View Post

Having to play a college football game at a rundown high school and pretend it’s some kind of reward is stupid. The players and coaches don’t like it. Just play the game in Magnolia.

Maybe HSU should try playing a full season of Thursday games then. Might help keep y’all’s broke dicks out of bankruptcy again.Originally posted by ReddieMade View Post

And yet we aren’t the ones always begging for money on Facebook lol
How does that work? Paul doesn’t have enough money to travel or feed kids, but you guys have enough money to buy people into playing Thursday night games?

I'm sure it is, I just don't think they plan it well in advance. I can't image a big amount goes into planning. Probably a fairly small team as well. Usually the two teams get paid a small amount to be apart of it so there isn't much agruments.Originally posted by TheWonderBoy View Post

Why complain when they pay both teams to be there?Originally posted by ReddieMade View Post
