GAC Columnist?

We sent out some feelers in the spring looking for a columnist, but not bites. If anyone here is interested, it's not too late to reach out to me. All we ask is one weekly column and you'd have a lot of flexibility in how you approach it.

I guess I misunderstood the realities of the Sport Information Department at the small college level. I assumed each SID has a group of 4-6 students (Communications Majors) assigned to them that had the time and needed the experience of doing sports writing. I thought taking turns at writing weekly articles was doable for them.

Thanks Chuck. I have the interest and time. Just not the experience. I really believe most folks who visit this forum would enjoy reading weekly articles from a student more than they would from me.

Fingers crossed, I may have something lined up. Earlier this week I was contacted by someone with the right background and the interest. I am still sorting a few things with him, but hopeful we'll have something ready by week one.
