Wayne State Warriors at Grand Valley Lakers

Okay, let's get this season over with... I can't imagine that this last game will be any fun for WSU in Allendale this weekend, with the Lakers looking at playoff seeding and WSU sliding down the GLIAC standings faster than a can of oil... Wooden Shoes, revenge, pride, embarrassment, I don't know what can motivate the Warriors to get a W, but they need something to salvage what has been a pitiful year. They played Ferris State tough as nails, but came up short, and now, after that debacle last week in Detroit against NMU for senior day, I just don't know if these boys have anything left to throw at Grand Valley. I just hope it doesn't get too ugly...:disapointed:

The way GV has played the last three weeks I wouldn't put it past Wayne State to give GV a run for their money.

I can't imagine GV talking anyone lightly.. but boys will be boys so who knows. I do think the GV starters will try to really get on track (though with all nicks, etc, I'm not sure who is a starter these days.) Still, even then the 2s and 3s should want to show what they can do to maybe get a slot on the PO rosters. Plus, GV has more than a handful of seniors so that will spike the punch a bit. It'll be cold, but I'm still thinking the Lakers will be heating up Lubbers on Saturday afternoon.
