From D1 Lacrosse player of the year to being everyone's nightmare in D2 Football - Should have been Harlon Hill winner if not hurt for a couple of games. Tyson Bagent wins it but after his performance against Ferris the committee wanted to give it to Jared.

Was a very good team no doubt and dominant playoff run

Man that 2021 team was killer! If we had a 2020 season, Jared B. would've been at Ferris for two seasons and we would have been going for a 5 peat with that logic. One of my favorite teams to watch go through Ferris.

I would put our 2021 team against any D2 team through the years - Undefeated then playoff scores we 54-20 gvsu, 41-20 NWMS, 55-7 Sheppard and 58-17 final against Valdosta State = Playoff average scoring 52 points a game versus 16 given up a playoff game. So we will trump your 2023 Harding Team - 3 Peat and playing for a 4 peat.

One interesting thing I was looking at this morning as I was listening to the show that Wit, Tony, and BD did last night. One person said that Harding's defense was down compared to last year. It doesn't look like that's the case. In all, Harding's team is better than last year besides the categories where you look at the sum of the data collected. So if Ferris wins on Saturday they will request the 2023 trophy from Harding too haha

I don’t really see what they’re referencing when they say the defense is down. They lost one real contributor off the defense from last year. He won a bunch of awards but didn’t have his best season last year. The guy who he split time with did. And he’s back.

it’s all still a game of matchups at this point. We’ll see how they match up with Ferris. But HU’s defense hasn’t taken a step back overall.

Side Bar: last year’s numbers there do include a somewhat historic offense that was UCM. Take that for what it’s worth.

I don't think that's a regional thing. Whenever I have had a grinder at a place that touts/sells them, there is something very different/unique about the bread that they use. When that correct bread is used it is NOT just another sub sandwich. It makes things VERY different, and I would say far superior. Seems like the old Mancino's had that different bread style. Haven't had one in probably 20 years so can't say whether that difference is still present/noticeable.

Mancino's grinders are usually baked in their pizza oven. They're a solid option for something to fill you up with. They do pizza, calzones, and wings there as well. Most of them are mostly take out places, but there's some that have seating to eat there as well.
