I haven't tried to play out all of the scenarios in my head, but I *guess* there's a way for Truman (who would be 7-2 in D2 games should that happen) to sneak into the top-9, which would kick in EA. There's people smarter than me on here that would be able to either confirm or deny that line of thought.

Only way to get EA is to be the only team from a qualifying conference to be at #8.

Central Washington will be at Southwest Baptist this weekend. I don't think any of us CWU fans have any idea what to expect. Doesn't look like Southwest Baptist has done much this year, though...

A Tiffin win would leave Hillsdale in a foul mood, and that would set up an interesting game vs Indy. If Tiffin wins, they'll be a shoe-in for the playoffs. If Hillsdale wins, they might still need to win out over Indy to pretty much be assured of a playoff spot. D2 football in week 10 makes for a lot of fun, and probably a lot of heartache.
Would love to be at Tiffin v Hillsdale. Find out if Tiffin's for reals today. So either way Hillsdale and U Indy still gonna be a physical game. Agreed it would be great if they both won this week. Then it's one of their biggest match ups ever. Nice history of good games. Two good coaches on the sidelines and the field with the senior QBs.

Biggest game in D2 this weekend and like was just mentioned, the biggest one in this rivalry. Great way to end the regular season. Winner earns a nice boost going into Selection Sunday. SR3 #4 vs. SR1 #5

Only game with two ranked teams and two conference champs. My take on it is Hillsdale with a pass offense that's unstoppable lately. Two big names on their O. U Indy offense is a nice mix of run/pass. U Indy defense never mixes it up and only adjusts within their scheme. So exploitable. But a strong D front for U Indy. And two U Indy LBs that make plays sideline to sideline but don't blitz. U Indy with a few young guys. Hillsdale not strong at every position. Same for all privates it seems. A toss up!

GMAC posters on these boards picking U Indy 10 votes to 6 votes for Hillsdale. National columnist Bob Eblen picking U Indy over Hillsdale 20-17. Can't find it but believe the Sagarin projection was U Indy by 6 at home.
