How we got there was a bit surprising in a couple of games.
LU beats McKendree 45-37 in a shootout. Matt Cole had a day again for McK. He's a stud. Brister, in 3 quarters goes off for over 400 yards passing and 4 TDs before leaving with a shoulder injury. Considering what the Bearcats did last week on offense and how hot and cold the LU defense has been, this one is less surprising.
MST beat QU 21-13. This one surprises the hell out of me. Kudos to the Hawks defense for stepping up their game vs. a top offense after giving up almost 100 points in 2 games. I'm not 100% sure how this happened yet as I only watched bits and pieces, but this one was a lot closer than I anticipated.
