How much does it cost to purchase a single game on the GLVC network?
How is Missouri S&T's video quality?

I checked the link below, but there was no answer to the cost question.

“Fans will have three different purchase options for regular-season broadcasts, including an individual broadcast cost of $10, a sport pass for $50 (volleyball) or $75 (football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball), and a full GLVC package for all four sports at $100. The cost for each Championship will vary, with more details announced closer to each event.”

I don’t recall S&T’s broadcast before standing out good or bad.

You can go back in the "on demand" and replay one of their games to check. Without looking I think it was one guy and a camera that was too far away. The GLVC will be on top of bad productions preseason like those with a history of bad camera work if they are gonna charge $75 for it when the GMAC is providing games no charge.

Some early thoughts through three weeks:
          1. Truman and Indianapolis have already shown their separation from the rest of the conference. Truman with three regional wins, including two against teams that should finish above .500, and Indianapolis beating an unexpectedly subpar Hillsdale before shutting down Wayne State. UIndy gets SVSU this week on the road after the Bulldogs shut the Cardinals down in all facets last Saturday, while TSU goes to Detroit for a Wayne State team that UIndy shut down in all facets last Saturday, too.

          2. Upper Iowa with a couple of good wins but will see their real colors with Michigan Tech coming to town this week.

          3. Quincy, I have no idea. A nonconference schedule so far that would make Georgia and Michigan blush included an NAIA team without a legit win in program history and a strip mall school from Florida. Their only real game so far is a loss against a team that’s gotten handled their other two games. Next they play a bad NMU team at home (5 straight home games to start the season???), so who knows. Seriously though, they don’t play a road game until October 7 at Truman.

          4. The Bearcats - I have never seen two teams get the doors blown off like SBU and MCK have this year against UTPB and Tiffin. Good time for a week off for MCK, while SBU goes south for a guarantee game.

          5. S&T - this is weird. Defense seems to be a big problem. Good QB but not sure if there’s been enough help so far. They have three straight at home, all against tough teams, to try and right the ship.

          6. Jewell - Another weird start. Beat a bad Fort Lewis team before losing to KWC, who is surprisingly 2-1. Had a week off and will go to Davenport this week for a tough matchup. Gotta think there are winnable GLVC games out there this year for the Cardinals.

I agree, the class of the GLVC is UIndy and Truman. After that, your guess is as good as mine. I’m not sure what to think of the Peacocks yet. Overstreet got pulled and Marcus Orr came in and played lights out. If he can continue to play well, I like their chances to finish 3rd. If he plays like he did last year, I’m not as confident. On a side note, looks like they got RJ Wells paperwork in order and played last week against Missouri S&T. He is a stud running back and I’m looking forward to watching him progress in his career.

TSU_Mike59 would you mind giving a week 5 update. I enjoyed the week 3 thoughts.

1A / 1B. It continues to be a Greyhound/Bulldog world at the top. The metrics point to Truman having the better season so far (beyond just the 5-0/4-0), as Truman’s SOS is well higher because of Hillsdale being surprisingly not great this year. Findlay and SD Mines are going to be good resume pieces for Truman, meanwhile. They both just have to not stumble this weekend and we get their showdown next Saturday in Kirksville. Alonzo Derrick is a game changer that Truman doesn’t have, and really no one else in the league has. Could the GLVC get two teams in if one goes 11-0 or 10-0 and the other goes 10-1 or 9-1?

                    3. Quincy probably running third in a “power rating” right now. QU is basically 2-1, and their three countable opponents have a combined two wins (one coming against QU). They can really prove that this is a big jump this year this Saturday in Kirksville. Go beat Truman at their place and it’ll tell us something.

                    4. William Jewell is a fun surprise right now. Played Davenport close on the road for three quarters. Got a GLVC opening win last week. Same deal as QU though — gonna have to show whether these are big steps that have been made or just small ones. Obviously a big road test at Indy this weekend.

                    5. Upper Iowa probably running next in a power rating right now. Tough loss at WJC for the Peacocks to put a damper on their GLVC opener. Now get S&T again after beating them at home earlier this year.

6-7-8: SBU / MCK / S&T - I don’t know how to differentiate these three. Bearcats vs Bearcats this weekend and S&T gets another shot at the Peacocks. Certainly not the starts these three teams wanted this year.

Nice to see Jewell and Quincy still trying to improve their programs. Thanks to Truman Mike for his thoughts. Along with Zo Derrick UIndy with a game changer at QB (Sukup) and a decent threat to break a long one at RB (Lewis). That said we looked flat vs S&T.

                        1. UINDY- It is their season to lose, another dominating win today, after TSU squeaks out a game they should have lost, UINDY sits alone at the top.

                        2. TRUMAN ST.- After watching that game, you could make a case that Quincy could jump them in the next few weeks in the power rankings if they drop next week to UINDY, Bulldogs find a way pull out an overtime win at home, while trailing 90% of the game.

                        3. QUINCY- I believe proved something today. Go up 20-0 in the first quarter, leading at half. The Hawks were shut out by TSU Defense until the 4th quarter. FG by TSU at the end of regulation to send it into overtime and the Bulldogs pull it out. Besides TSU, QU is the only team that would have any shot to take down UINDY, it almost happened last year.

4--8. SBU, S&T, MCK, UIU I have no clue, I need a 2 more weeks to let this one play out. If you made me pick, 4. S&T 5. UIU 6. MCK, 7. WJC

Zo Derrick DNP for this week's Jewell game. Don't know the degree of injury for sure yet. Plus students doing the games again at UIndy and they don't meet with Coach Keevers game week to prep like ISC Sports Network did for years. Bad timing to have him out being Truman game week. Ten or so WRs caught passes for UIndy yesterday.

Offensive threat Alonzo Derrick not listed in the 2 deeps for U Indy today v Truman. Plus Kamau Ransom didn't play last week either? Gonna be all frosh and soph in the offensive skilled positions for U Indy today. Gonna find out how good of a team they'll be the next couple years.

After good starts it looks like the Upper Iowa and Truman fans are feeling down. Truman still with a great chance to get into the playoffs and it's just Upper Iowa's first year in a new conference. Jeesh

Hillsdale having a down year and you're still on here.

This week Quincy calling it their biggest game ever. Mega Bowl level. Different team this year with a lot of transfers that almost got Truman so UIndy better be ready to play - with or without Zo Derrick.
