NW will win that. As long as the lead is comfortable, the race Pitt State will be trying to win is time of possession. I'm thinking another double up might be in line here (Pitt State outpossessed ESU 40-20). Those 2-3 yard runs against other teams might turn into 5-6 yard runs against the really bad teams and Pitt State may never throw a pass.

No forward pass... the way God intended the game to be played.

          I agree with Bred.

          Pitt will grind it out.

If Pitt State possesses the ball for 40 minutes, they may score 80. Remember that Northeastern is averaging 9 punts a game! Some of those 4-5 yard runs turn into 40-50 yard runs and quick scores. Pitt may only throw 8 times, but that could easily be 4 TDs as well...

I have 2 tickets for sale towards the top of EE for any Bearcat attending Family Day.

(I would even sell them to a Lion...)

Maybe scheduling a MOSO team going thru tough times for our Family Day weekend is the intention. The bigger the lead, and the more the game gets out of hand, the more players who get to see the field in front of their families. It's a "feel good" gameday for both the players and the families attending . . . not nearly so much for the rest of the fans. Could look as ugly as it has ever been in the stands inside Bearcat Rickenbrode Stadium by the start of the fourth quarter. Which is too bad for a Family Day game.

Family Day means Red Hats. This photo shows Scott Bostwick (red hat) and AD visiting with Angelo State grad (and former SF 49'er) Pierce Holt following playoff game at Kingsville. Holt was there to talk with Wagner about the Angelo State HC job.

Holt is another D2 player to have a successful NFL career.
