Too many penalties on the last drive...should be 21-0

Lopers lead 21-7 at half. Feels like it should be by more. Missed a chip shot field goal with 2 minutes left. Luckily the defense is smothering. RiverHawks with just 68 yards.

The NSU OL just isn't an MIAA caliber OL.

Who are they competing with besides UCO, and maybe Pitt for OL recruits in Oklahoma?

They are smack dab in GAC territory. Maybe I'm wrong, seems like Texas/Oklahoma/Arkansas high schools rely on the spread so much and there aren't as many big beefy athletic guys that fall through the D1 cracks like the northern MIAA schools.

Thats why Lynn to Kearney is a good fit, his option system doesnt need those kinds of o lineman, smaller quicker actually works better in that system.

Yes they are bad hurting for both lines and that has been always probably in miaa and it's really bad right now.

Pitt, moso, the OK gac schools, uco, and most important Emporia have drained OK of talent over years.

The no oc games just wears you down. Just a battering ram of good teams every week. Same problem unk has had buto I really like that offensive scheme that unk runs. Real good for teams with less talent. Looks like read option but the runs are dripping with veer run plays .
