People are waaay tooo high on UCO over their win against NW. Bronchos probably won't win no more than 5 this year. Offense is bland and defense is not much better. Mules will roll in Edmond.

Fort Hays @ Emporia State

Tigers are solid but not scary. But still good enough to swat a gnat.

Lindenwood @ Nebraska Kearney

Interesting game. I think the Lions have the better QB but will it be enough to lift them to a win? Lindenwood has a tough stretch of games coming up and not many wins in them. Been back and forth on this game in my mind and just have a gut feeling that the UNK run game will be the difference. Wasn't real impressed with the Lions run defense. Lopes in a close one at home.

Missouri Western @ Missouri Southern

Southern is probably worse than the SBUs and Rollas back in the day. Griffs easily. Only question is, will the Lions score?

Northeastern State @ Washburn

WU gets a win they will need.

Northwest Missouri @ Pittsburg State

Game of the Week being played where it belongs....on Campus!

Back and forth on this game too. QB woes for the Gorillas and don't know if any of them are healthy. If JRod could stay healthy he gives the Gorillas their best chance to win, but that is a BIG IF. The NW QB had trouble with the pressure he got from UCO, he will have trouble with the speed that will be coming at him Saturday. Add to the pressure from the front line the Gorillas have by leaps and bounds improved in the defensive backfield. However the Gorilla D will have to also control the run game as well although I don't think NW has as good as RBs as the fans thought they were going to have. From what little I have seen of them they are not special and nor are they scary. Problem is, you can say the same thing about the Gorillas RBs. I think NW has a slight edge on the offense and overall I think the Gorilla defense has the advantage. Its cliche' but turnovers will probably decide this game. I will be surprised if the game gets very deep into the 20s as I think 20 or 21 points could very well win this game, just like last year. Think NW has the best chance to win the game but will pick the upstart Gorillas in an upset.
