Well this is it.. We will see how good the NW run D is this week as they face the option. In the past NW has crushed option based teams.

UNK averages 300 yards per game rushing, NW D is giving up 77 yards per game rushing. NW hasn't given up a rushing TD since 2016.

This is probably the week that the rushing TD streak ends but I think NW still wins big. Maryville on homecoming is a tough out against NW. I'm saying NW 31, UNK 17

Judging by the stats, it does look like UNK is a one-dimensional run-based offense. I would think the game-plan for this game would be the same as when they faced other option teams like Harding. Stop the run, put them in longer down and distances, and get a sizeable lead and force them to beat you through the air. Hopefully, the last part doesn't come to fruition. That said, UNK seems to be playing their best since joining the MIAA.

They have a 6'-7" WR. Triple him or tackle him or something and you will be fine.

Antelopes are smarter than Bison ... the offense produced 50 something yards (!) last year so I'll be happy with a close game and no injuries.

UNK Dline is pretty good. Most impressive overall group I've seen so far. No stars, just solid all the way across.

Northwest will need to force some turnovers. Something they have not been too successful at so far this season. Maybe the Loper option will put the ball on the ground a few times?

Cool pic! Call me a traditionalist but I'd like to see green jerseys with white pants at home. White w/white on the road I can live with.
