So you readily admit; Ouachita can't compete with anybody except the bottom...well we all knew that was obvious and will be again once playoffs come and you have to face any other team not on your dream playoff list.

Both teams have the silo crap, so a 2 loss Pitt and a 2 loss Harding would be pretty equal.

I believe if both win out, Pittwill have more wins against .500 or better teams. HU would have the better road record, though.

Assuming that Saginaw Valley loses at least one more game (GVSU or Davenport), they drop out of the rankings. Even though I believe that Harding is a better team, would the SOS and other formulas put S&T in over Harding, assuming the Miners win out?

Likely they still get in with the NCAA incompetence. After the season they will have to forfeit/vacate the first four games which would have made them ineligible for postseason play thus making them vacate any results they have in the postseason. It is going to be a mess.

They tried to get out in front of the narrative and frame it in the best light they could but all that did was confirmed they know of the infraction which has pretty set penalties. The best hope for the NCAA as a whole I fear is the GLIAC steps in and forces them to vacate those wins before the postseason. This clears up their likely conference champion and postseason results instead of waiting for the NCAA to get around to the end resulting in the same thing.
