Tigner with the well deserved plunge into the end zone for 6. 28-21 Hays. 50 seconds left to go in the first half. Hays will get the ball to start the 2nd half.

2 short passes later and its 3rd down with 5 seconds left. Sexton should not have thrown the first one, it was short and in the middle of the field. He'll learn. Vincent on to try the FG

iffy PI call on a WR pass by Hays. The Hays player mugged the Pitt player but the Pitt player never looked back for the ball. Tigner with a run through more weak ass tackles by Pitt. Hays down to Pitt 15

Hays on their way in for 6 and fumble the ball. Derryberry with the strip and recovery. Pitt ball on their own 3

Mlekus got hit hard going the wrong way on a blown play. he currently thinks he is in Paris dancing under the Eiffel Tower.

I am not hoping harm or concussions on the young man but the play after getting his bell rung Mlekus throwns maybe his best pass of the year. Hits West in stride for a 80 yard TD. # 22 for Hays could have broken it up but was late getting back and never turned around. West jogs into the end zone. PAT makes it 31-28 Pitt.

Hays with 3 very uninspired plays after losing the lead. 3 straight Tigner runs, straight ahead power football that falls short of gaining 10 yards. Hays punts.
