Re: Which MIAA teams have started spring practice?

With all american qb Brook Bolles returning from injury, the Mules are skipping spring practice and spending a couple extra weeks in Ft. Lauderdale.

Don't they do that every year?

Yes, I know, I have no room to talk as a Pitt fan.

Re: Which MIAA teams have started spring practice?

I was able to see a practice last Thursday. I had two guests with me so I was not able to pay as much attention as normal.

        Takeaways:

        - OL is massive. Looks like those old Duluth and Mankato lines.
        - TEs and WRs need to catch better.
        - RBs look good as a unit.
        - DBs covered well.
        - Didn't see a couple of transfers who were dinged.

That seems to be our problem for the past few years. Te's and Wr's catching the ball.

C'mon, really? Our TEs have been thrown to (an actual pass intended for the TE) about as many times in the last two years as the fingers on my hand. They are nothing more than undersized offensive linemen.

Send your and to Pitt camp so Beck can teach them the "shot-put to the te" play?

Which TE would you have thrown to more?

Andrews played on the same high school team as the Davis twins who play for Nebraska.

Not sure. I've seen a grand total of 3 passes thrown to them in two years. Not enough data points to say.

When you don't change anything how is it expected to improve? #insanity

WR development and retention has been nothing short of awful for a few seasons now. Now are attempting the full transfer route to fix. At this point, if you were a legit WR, why would you come to NW to die?

Just like the WRs. More concerned that they can block than actually catch a downfield pass.
