Very intrigued by the arms race in the MIAA. Pitt Locker rooms 2-3 years ago set a standard. WU just debuted an indoor football/track which is state of the art. Now NW with a first class locker room. UCM or UCO to up the ante?

UCM already has a top notch football stadium including first class locker and weight rooms. No doubt an indoor facility is at the top of the wish list for several sports.

That has been a great addition at Northwest for sure. We're even going to be forced to play volleyball in ours until they deem Bearcat Arena safe from it's roof issues. I wonder if all those repair costs set back the timeline for updates to that building. Actually, I don't know how far that was pushed beyond some initial drawings, but if we're going to continue to be a basketball school, that experience could use an upgrade too. ;)

If I remember correctly, NW and Maryville split the cost and usage of the indoor facility. Minus a mega donor willing to write the whole check, then the shared facility seems like the best option. Good for the university and good for the town equals a win for both.

The City and MO National Guard partnered on the Maryville Rec Center not the Hughes Fieldhouse

The community did vote to pass the transient guest tax, so all your teams travelling to and staying in Maryville have gotten to participate in the funding. ;)

Any UCM players that must overnight in Maryville just sleep on the bus so we can save up money for a fieldhouse.

It's like building a million dollar home in the middle of a trailer court.

Hughes Fieldhouse was built in the middle of a trailer court? That's no way to talk about the NW campus, shameful.

I thought we were getting a discount rate to stay at the Bed, Bath & Bible Inn - next to the NWMS turkey hatchery. All those gobblers probably kept the players awake.

Turkey Hatchery, is that for real or is that just code for married student housing?

According to Predatory Pornmate it's a Turkey Insemenation Plant.
