big pick'em week. Does PP slide back to the pack or does he pull away and go after the pick'em record?
UNK winds at 20mph in that bump of a city in the middle of nowhere will affect ESU's passing game more than the UNK running game. UNK has a 1 game lead but both still have to play NW. If ESU loses they are done. If UNK loses they have no margin for error.
UCO at 4-2 every game is a playoff eliminator for them, but they have already played and beaten NW. Plus in the first year under AD they are playing with house money. After 2 weeks pretty much off, the next 4 games are tough but the weakest of the 4 is this Saturday. UCO rolls, builds confidence and sets up a showdown with Washburn next week. At worst I see UCO going bowling this year.
MoSO honestly I just want to take the under in this game. UCM has been playing better but I think MoSo is further along in their rebuild and a win today puts them only 1 win away from a winning season. The rest of their schedule is brutal so they really need the W on Saturday. Much like KU, they could easily lose out the rest of the way
MW its like going to a drag show, you are fairly sure what you are going to watch but sometimes you still get surprised. They might have the easiest schedule left so a W Saturday is a springboard to the coach keeping his job.
Pitt Please Baby Jesus please keep all the players safe but especially the Pitt players. Let us come out of this glorified scrimmage injury free. Amen. P.S. Please seed Mike Racy dreams of getting rid of Lincoln in the MIAA. Off season topic...how good is the new Lincoln head coach? I for one am impressed.
NW if I had picked this last week at halftime I might have leaned Washburn. NW showed me a lot in that 2nd half. I know and I do understand the NW fans frustrations with Wright but that kid is a gamer and the kids follow him. If he can't go, and honestly from that Gaskill hit he should be in concussion protocol hopefully Hohensee can go. He was at least well enough to get on the field and toss a TD pass out of a FG formation setup. Playoff elimination game and I'll go with the team that is there year after year after year.
