Does the game with MSSU say more about the Lions or NW? I think it says more about NW and how they have not only come back to the pack but are now in the pack. They no longer have the best defense in the league or the dominant defensive line, which was what separated them from all the other teams. The offense has been struggling for a few years now. Welcome to 3rd place at best NW. ESU doesn't fall short this year. Gnats win.

Missouri Southern @ Washburn

WU's offense looked inept Thursday. Credit the best defense in the league for that. I don't think WU is as bad as they looked and I will have to see more than 1 game like that from MSSU to be picking them. I think this is a good game and home field will be the difference.


Pittsburg State @ Fort Hays State

If there is a big improvement from game 1 to game 2 like it is said then the Tigers offense better look out. I saw a Gorilla defense that was fast, tackled well and hit hard. I liked what I saw on that side of the ball. They are good enough to carry this team until the offense gets things going. Run game for Pitt was good. Passing game needs work. They will have the opportunity to work on it as the defense will control games. Coach Wright came to Pitt from the offensive side of the ball but when he got here he fixed the defense. Hays goes from playing the worst team in the league to the best. I think we are looking at another double digit win.

Central Oklahoma @ Central Missouri

IDK. UCM costs me more picks in this pick'em than any other team. I think we will find out that UCO played a lower tier team in UNK and I think we will find out MWSU is just above them. UCO and UCM will probably finish next to one another this year and both will probably be middle tier. I have no idea on this one. UCO your welcome on your win since I picked the Mules.
