Lions lead 9-7 at half. Lopers have been sloppy with some penalties and an INT. Davis apparently isn't at 100 percent so they're probably going to be selective with how many runs they call for him.

MoSo with a long touchdown drive to open the second half, but UNK blocks the PAT to keep it a one-score game.

Lions go for a possible knockout punch but the Lopers come up with a turnover on downs at their 4

11:33 left. MoSo with the ball back. The UNK offense has gone three and out on its only two possessions of the second half.

Lions FG. 18-7. That's probably the ballgame with just 6:07 left and how lifeless the UNK offense has been in the second half.

Davis promptly is sacked and fumbles it away on the first play. Just completely inept after the break.

UNK definitely wasn't "disciplined, detailed or tough" today. MoSo pretty much dominated the game despite the final score. Sounds like attendance was pretty poor as well. Could be a long, frustrating season.

MOSO ran the ball a lot more than they have been and dominated time of possession in the second half. Odd watching TJ Davis stay in the pocket, but MOSO did handle him well when he did run. Looked like our D fell asleep on that last drive. We seemed to control most of the game, but didn't score much. Hated the call on 4th and a half yard. Should have just lined up and played smash mouth football.

According to the radio broadcast, TJ was not fully healthy so the playcalling was designed to limit how many hits he took. Agreed on your points on the Lions. It was odd that they gave up those consecutive completions on the final scoring drive after limiting the Lopers to basically nothing on the previous second half drives. I also think it was a gift that MoSo went for that fourth down and passed instead of taking the points with a field goal or rushing for the first down. Gave UNK life when it seemed they didn't have much.
