You forget about Mike Hill already? We have had three or four defensive backs make it to the league and hang around the last few years. Jonathan Owens has played a lot for the Texans and is currently with the Packers. Greg Zuerlein is on like year 11 in the league and still kicking with the Jets. We have Sam Webb, another d-back with the Panthers currently. He was with the Raiders before that. So we have 3 currently in the NFL (unless I'm forgetting someone), and I believe we have one or two in the CFL currently as well. Tbh we have kind of become d-back U with how many of them have spent at least sometime in the NFL the past 10 years. Michael Jordan (a finalist for the Cliff Harris award I believe), Brandin Dandridge, Sam Brown, Jonathan Owens, and Sam Webb are all d-backs in recent years that are either in the NFL currently or spent some time there. And those are just the d-backs. Mike Hill, David Bass, Leonard Wester (OL), and even every Bearcats favorite Griffon QB, Travis Partridge all spent varying amount of time in the NFL and CFL. So, learn something or shut up about what you don't know anything about lol.
Ok but you didn't answer my question how many rings I take it as none where we have 2 that I know of

He was a good tackle dumby
Zuerlein did transfer from Nebraska Omaha when they shut down their football program. Saw him kick three 50+ yard FG for MoWest in Joplin to beat the Lions.

With the pipeline that we got going into the NFL, its just a matter of time bro. Honestly, I don't think it matters as much as you try to make it seem. Like, I get the whole NW has 6 national championships, but MoWest has none. Fair. But like, extending it out to individual D-2 alums in the NFL and asking how many former MWSU vs. NW players have Superbowl rings? Sure that's a feather in the cap, but it's kind of splitting hairs to me. D2 players rarely have a huge impact on their teams' success as far as I'm aware. Although, I would argue that Greg Zuerlein has probably had one of the largest D-2 NFL impacts on his teams' success when you consider that he has scored 1,263 points (field goals plus extra points) in his NFL career thus far.

He was also notably better at MWSU than at UNO. I would argue that we had a really great special teams coach that helped him develop while he was with us, not to mention with some help from the indoor facility.

Ouch ESU draws first blood on a one handed TD pass and catch. ESU as advertised so far. As I type this, extra point blocked lol. Silver lining.

Finishing this NW game lol. Love to see them get smashed. Figured Emporia would hold it down until I turn it on.

I know that Emporia's offense loves the quick short passing game, but damn Gleason is a well-oiled machine. Dude just goes out there and throws completions.

The Griffon D gets the stop. Emporia punts.

Looks like the key is to run over the bugs and sprinkle in some passes. We movin'.
