The Lions showed a lot of heart today. Despite a very disappointing season, they never gave up and sent the seniors out with a win to end their home season. Neat to see the marriage proposal by #70 before the game.

According to many on the board, the Lions had phoned the season in several games ago. That obviously wasn't the case today. They moved the ball well and forced UNK into several mistakes. I could be wrong, but I think this was the first game they lost the turnover battle all year.

Congrats on the win. Perhaps the marriage proposal inspired them today.

Just when you think Held has it going in the right direction, then they show up and do that. Very 😞
Saturday at home won't be a pretty way to end year number 2 with a big loss to Hays.

Glad to see Southern reach down and find something to build on next year.

Yeah, bad games happen. But it's really disappointing for it to happen 10 games into the season against the worst team in the conference. You can't even point to any injuries or bad weather that impacted the game. The Lopers just flat out got beat.

It's still going to be a better season than pretty much everyone expected. But finishing it out with a loss like this followed by what will likely be a rough one against Fort Hays (hope I'm wrong) is going to be a tough way to go into the offseason.

The game went the way it was supposed to go, the lopes lack of pretty much everything told the story. Regardless if Southern was “the worst team in the conference “ Southern out played the lopes in every aspect. Making excuses is just an excuse.
