Maybe CWU has a shot at one of these two. Be great to get either, because making puns with their names is pretty easy.

Maybe EWU as well, although both there wouldn't fully make sense. They have a pretty good history right now with QB's.

I think these two guys will be sticking to FBS or FCS. Besides, CWU is all good at QB for the next few years.

              Re: CWU Recruiting 2019

CWU is still recruiting to fill out the roster with some Juco guys.

But they are also recruiting pretty heavily this year for 2020. There have been many player camps lately including the ones at CWU and PLU, and CWU has been dishing out offers. Could be added pressure from SFU that is prompting CWU to get a fast early jump on recruiting for 2020. CWU even offered Graham Kapowsin star Malaki Roberson, who was Dylan Morris's top target last year with nearly 1200 receiving yards. Former teammate of CWU's Robert Mason. He is only 5'9" but has offers from Army, Air Force, 2 Ivy league schools, and San Diego. And he is 3 stars by ESPN. Surely the next Jesse Zalk if he was to go with CWU. But expect him to get more offers and likely go D1. CWU also offered the top 2 defensive tackles in WA per 247 Sports.

So here is my list of CWU's 2020 recruiting targets: https://www.facebook.com/notes/cwu-c...3630655751076/

Yankoff of UW off to UCLA, will sit out this year and have 3 left as the "lose-a-year" rule of transferring in-conference was eliminated. Sirmon foolishly pulled out of the transfer portal and back to UW. Coach Pete did this stuff at BSU and his smile on his face deludes people with his stuff. Don't take two 4-star QB's in the same class and then promise them the world. Yankoff got 3 snaps in the spring game, Sirmon not much more; and they foolishly had the Graham, Washington, kid enroll early, when he's 3/4 years out from ever playing, and probably won't play as a young Huard as verbally committed and they will play him.

He tried to get a BSU QB to enroll early one year with Kellen Moore firmly entrenched on the roster, the kid told coach Pete he was staying in school to play prep hoops (I believe he led his team to the state title) and run track. Petey didn't like it. The QB didn't enroll early and eventually started at BSU. Peterson is the master of tweeking with kids collegiate careers, smiling it off, and pi$$ing off a lot of players. Leach at WSU is much more less polished, rather blunt, and the media doesn't like that. Leach is no saint and not Mr. Nice Guy either, but he doesn't try to portray it.

Sirmon should've transferred to Oregon State, after this year they have QB issues, their Nebraska transfer doesn't look good, IMO.

Should have went to CWU! Start his first year there and crush WOU twice a year.

According to the team roster on Hudl, there are several more new players coming to CWU, most of them being D1 transfers with a couple of them having been successful starters in the past who are looking to revive their careers.

This article doesn't mention any transfer QB. Guess we'll see.

That article mentions barely anyone new. Maybe if they wrote it after the start of camp they would know more. Keep an eye on future articles. I should be a sports insider reporter with all of my sources I know of before the sports writers!

                            Another HUGE recruit to report:

CWU recruited one of the best all-around athletes in the state in Lincoln High's Mykel Campbell. He was a star in football, basketball and track & field at LHS. He is rated 3 stars, the #21 recruit and #4 WR in the state by 247 Sports. Campbell amassed nearly 800 receiving yards last year with 11 touchdowns. He also took 2nd in the state 3A high jump, so perhaps he will be jumping for our track & field team, as well. Highlights: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/5355306...f5c20c788290a0

Neat. Wonder why he ended up at CWU. Looks like he might be a FCS or FBS recruit.

Held an offer from Sac State but surprisingly not sure about anyone else. Had looks from FBS programs but got nothing. Surely one of the biggest steals for recruiting
