I see one thing that isn't really talked about, but academics and how good a school is in the athelete's major can also be a huge determining factor. The kids we are talking about should know that an NFL/CFL career is unlikely and are the true definition of Student Athlete at the D1-FCS and D2 levels. Is it not possible that how good a school is in their chosen field outside of football should influence the decision as well? Mike Reilly for example has an engineering degree and worked out at the Hanford area for a while with it, which is also a very good paying job.
