  • GNAC NFL Signings

CWU OT James Moore has signed as UFA with the Seahawks! https://twitter.com/CWUFB/status/1122502730340159489

Under the radar player looking to make a name for himself. Any other GNAC players signed by any teams? I know Chase DeMoor, Tyler Hasty, and Ced Cooper were all looking to get a chance by no word yet on any of them.

Reporter at the Seattle Times said he's going to get a tryout in the rookie minicamp. Hopefully he does well enough to stick.

With Seattle's O-line, I see that as more of a possibility with Sweezy now gone again and Ifedi's pass blocking issues.

Problem is Moore is around 300 lbs so despite being 6'5", he is still pretty undersized for an NFL lineman

Reports are that Seattle may let Germain Ifedi go by not picking up his option. That could be another spot at tackle too for Moore to try to get.

APU TE Matt Orzech got an invite to the Ravens rookie camp for his work as a long snapper.

I have to wonder if Ja'Quan Gardner will get signed with the AAF issues. He and Watson both actually,

                That's not the problem. Scout's didn't like his strength. 12 reps at 225....No bueno. He's a project.

With the way Seattle moves people around between offense and defense, it makes you wonder if they may also see him on the D-line too. Especially with the losses on the D-Line it may be a fit if Moore would be willing to make such a change.

I'm a little surprised no one has mentioned how things went, but then again even the Seattle Times gave little. They did say he got "lots of work", which could be a good sign as he was asked to do a physical too.

CWU news watch interviews James Moore after is mini camp. Moore said he has not been invited to anything further, but he was one of just 6 players who got to fill out some medical form as a step toward perhaps further time in Seahawks training camp. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2245647375520315
