Add to that, the triple is just 1 play, and Lee like all great minds of the offense is really good at leveraging formations and schemes to get the defense out of position or make it over run contain.

Those defensive stats are pretty dang good considering how bad they played against Tarleton.

You really need to read up and listen to some of these guys that run these offenses. If it were that easy to beat then nobody would run it, nor would they have any success.

As with any system it comes down to play makers. After all the time Eastern has run this system they should never win a game in conference if what you are saying is true.

Also as with every system and scheme it is evolving, coordinators are using diffetent players as the read for the dive, pitch, etc.

                Your not allowed to!

BTW this year things really seem to favor Angelo. Eastern is not as stout vs the run as in the past, and the secondary gives up big plays deep. Defensively Angelo front 7 are as fast and athletic as anyone.

I really have no idea how you're not a big time head coach somewhere.

Nope, just an arm chair coach.

You do realize they can also block the guy that is suppose to take the dive, or QB, or Pitch and run plays any way. You would be surprised at how few times a game these flexbone teams actually run the triple option.

Only Midwestern has played Tarleton closer that the Hounds this year. Tarleton has blow everyone else out.

16 pts in the last 3 games.

Still i think Angelo offense is going to move the ball, hopefully the offense can slow the game down and get a couple scores up on them, then choke the clock.

The past 2 games have been awesome to watch. I was excited about Walt comming back, if Eastern can learn to play this type of blanketing defense against teams like Commerce, midwestern, and Tarleton....they are going to be very hard to beat.

21 points or less is all they need to hold their opponents under and Eastern will be in a position to win every game.

Exactly. That front 7 of ASU is tough!
