Buffs took 2 0f 3 from UTPB. After losing game 1 on Friday, they outscored UTPB 23-2 in the next 2 games with great pitching and hitting. Zach Dixon was outstanding on Saturday living up to his Preseason LSC Pitcher of the Year honor. With all games being conference games, Coach V doesn't have the luxury of much experimentation with lineups. Players have to step up early.
It will be a good series at home this weekend versus St. Ed's.

Buffs picked 2nd in LSC preseason poll behind ASU. Coach V likes this team. Should have good depth on the mound and swing the bats well. Season opens Jan. 31 at UTPB.
