Yes. Probably complications with diabetes. Hopefully not CTE-related.

I remember people gave him the nickname "Whiskey Wade" because of Tommy Kramer's drunkenness. I don't even know if he drank- he certainly didn't as much as Tommy. I never forgave Denny Green for the way that he cut him from the team- never told him in person.

Ironic that he died on his birthday. 60 is too young.
