Yep, virtually every program at Tech is doing well right now save football and women's basketball. Men's Bball is awesome, baseball is always in contention, softball had a good run, track and field are dominant. Get football up to speed and Tech could have one of the top athletic departments in the Big12 (top to bottom)

The moral of the story here is to not hire an offensive coordinator who built his name off of a once in a lifetime QB who made all the plays on his own after the actual plays broke down. The Arizona Cardinals will soon realize what Tech just did.

I thought you were talking about Kevin Sumlin for a second.
Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out?"

Just in case there was no sarcasm, Offensive Coordinator at Oklahoma for one year and OC at Kentucky from 97-98.

One thing he did not do was inherit a great QB situation at OU. Josh Heupel was this guy from a JUCO nobody had heard of that had a very average arm and turned him into a Sooner great and National Champion.

That's what I was thinking. Not much of a resume. I think it's a stretch to say he turned a QB into a "Sooner great" in a single season, but I'll have some of what you're smoking.
