If you are serious and think there won't be 300 people at the game, you (A) don't know East Texas HS football, (B) haven't thought about the media circus that will cover the first game and (C) don't know that there is still a huge following of people who think he was the scapegoat and had nothing to do with the stuff at Baylor and will be there just to support him.

Mount Vernon, the home of my grandfather, hires Art Briles. It is a small 3A high school in east Texas. What a plunge for Briles, he will be lucky to get a crowd of 300 on Friday night.

Of course, MVISD is taking some heat for the hire.
