CWU Kicker Patrick Hegarty to Transfer

CWU's standout kicker Pat Hegarty will graduate and play his final year elsewhere. Coming off an excellent season and with CWU going into a good conference, my only guess is that he has a grad degree program he wants to pursue elsewhere? In two seasons at Central Hegarty made 18/23 field goals with a best of 50 yards, while also converting 94/98 PATs. Easily the best kicker we have had in many many years.

Yeah, I bet a D1 school came calling. He's definitely the best kicker CWU has had since Rolsma. I wish he'd stay, but he might have an actual chance at a professional career.
