  • CWU's Michael Reilly retires

CFL HOF'er in my book. Every level of his career had the deck stacked against him only to see him not only overcome the obstacle, but blow it out of the water. Wonder what he'll do in retirement. Maybe he'll hang out with Mayday and MR4P.

It was fun to follow his legendary career. Lots of accomplishments. Legend!

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back into engineering again as that is what he did right after college. Still, a great CFL career for him.

Great player, best D2 player I've seen play. Class guy, developed the perfect college and pro careers, finding places where he could shine and win.

Here's another story already. Engineering background, but another career choice according to this feature.

Wouldn't mind seeing him come back to Ellensburg and maybe do a little coaching when he's not firefighting.

Watch some of those highlight clips of Reilly attached to those stories, some pretty big time throws there, putting it in the only place receiver could catch it for touchdowns.

I'm glad he developed a huge career up in Canada, but got to admit the NFL was stupid not to give him a longer look. There's a ton of quarterbacks in the league who couldn't make those throws he was making.

Plus he showed how durable he was. That dude has taken some hits over the years. Bounced back up. Not many QBs can have a decade-plus long professional career.
