How do they even suspend all those who were in this? Or do they just make an example out of a few of them?

        They are both bottom feeders.

One is likely to miss the Southland tournament and the other one will get smoked first or second round if they make it.

I say suspend all involved and let the bench/walk on players finish the season.

McNeese St. has that conference rigged anyways for the next few years and will be going to the tournament with the conference championships on their home floor and other sports.

Southland teams from 3rd place and lower are extremely weak.

The Top 3 teams of the LSC, especially WT, would be extremely competitive.

Most years they could contend winning the Southland but McNeese will rule that conference while Will Wade is the coach until he gets a better D1 job again or gets busted for more NCAA violations.

Ah yes, such fine student athletes.

An ol' fashioned Detroit-style gang fight in an empty gym. All that was missing were knives and things that go bang.

            Gotta love it.

That was a whippy fight. Back in the 70s LSC teams knew how to brawl.

Most of the tweets I saw were making fun of the attendance and the Southland in general.

There are some junior high gym's than are better than IW's and Houston Christian's gym's.

Incarnate Word has been really bad in basketball most years so that with the lack of seating makes it difficult.

Southland's issue is multiple teams (unfortunately Corpus included) take the easy road non conference and play several non D1 teams.

As a result the conference champ routinely has the RPI, SOS, etc. constantly in the mid 200s or worse and get stuck in the 16 seed play in game.

Corpus plays most of their games 10 miles away from their main campus and that has hindered attendance for decades.

They need to build a new on campus gym but that keep getting kicked down the road.

Nothing yet from the administration here. We are just in year 2 of the transition, so I don’t guess it matters what happens in the long run since nothing really counts for another 2 years I feel bad for the coach having to deal with this, his wife had 2 massive strokes from blood clots before Christmas and has been in the hospital learning how to walk and talk while he is taking care of 2 small kids and coaching.

                          Mixed feelings....

You were in the wrong but we will let you play the last game(s) of the season (if you are a senior and you don't make the conference tournament).
