Season is almost here! I went out to practice today. The defense is IMPRESSIVE. They are massive with really good DL and very athletic defensive backs. The entire offensive skill is back and looked a little rusty today. The offensive line is definitely more athletic and better than a year ago. They did a FG period and looks like the freshmen kicker from Desoto is the real deal. Saw him hit a few 45-50 yarders today. Exciting times ahead for UTPB.

Exciting times to be a fan and get free admission all season. Saw an article on Twitter about it yesterday

Are you talking about Angel Diaz? If so, he hit 5 for 12 FGs last year..and probably missed 5 or 6 PATs out of 80+ attempts. He has serious range for sure. Watched him hit a 50 last year.

With coaching, he could be excellent.

So I don't get any CRAP during the season. I am cheering for two teams this year UTPB & Angelo.

I think CWU will be the team to beat.

CWU defense looked legit in the playoffs.

45-50 yard FGs should be fairly standard at this point, especially in practice...

Angel hits them during high pressure games too.

I just think he missed too much last season at Desoto.

Entire offense skill? The Falcons QB is not back.

All WR's and RB's. That's the real skill players.

Went to UTPB practice at Ratliff this morning. Offense was unstoppable. All of those all conference WR's were making plays. Dylan Graham (QB from 2022) looked very polished. OL was doing a good job. If UTPB looks like that this season, they will have the top offense again. Defense did not look like they did early in camp today.

I would tap the break on the unstoppable offense when UTPB could only score 3 points in a playoff game at home last year.

Also, might not be great when they're unstoppable against their own defense.

Practice at Ratliff? Are you sure it was Utpb Falcons you were watching and not the Nimitz Admirals?

The offense that scored 42 PPG and won the LSC. What did your team's offense do?

PB has a ton of skill players coming back. Their top 6 WRs and top RB return. Probably some transfers mixed in too. Graham should be the starter, and how he takes to the offense will determine quite a lot. How they react the next time someone hits them like Bemidji did…we’ll see.

Easy there sparky. "Your team" was one on-side kick away against "my team" from your season being totally different.

Yes the offense most of the season was impressive.

Lets see how the team does with a different QB.
